Roland DG has launched a competition to celebrate its 30th anniversary, with the regional prize announced as a trip to Japan and the overall award as a Roland machine. The world-wide Creative Awards will recognise Roland technology users in a range of industries including sign-making, photography and textiles.
Entries are now being accepted, from which judges will choose winners from 14 regions using the criteria of Creativity, Innovation and Execution. One world-wide grand prize winner will receive a Roland machine such as a VersaCamm VS series 42" (1.01m) printer/cutter or an EGX-360 gift engraver, while one winner from the UK, Ireland or Gibraltar will win a trip to Japan for two people.
There will also be two honourable mention winners, and monthly people's choice awards selected by the public.
"Roland DG customers are incredible," comments Gillian Montanaro, head of marketing, Roland DG. "We owe our success to our loyal customers and are really excited about the opportunity to share their creative achievements with the world through the Roland DG Creative Awards.
"Thirty years is a true milestone and during this time our customers have produced some of the most unbelievable work."
