Mactac has introduced a new range of textured laminate films under the Permacolor brand, called PermaFlex DecoLam. The six overlaminates are designed for signage, POS, wall graphics for interior and hotel décor, architectural graphics and decals on flat or slightly curved surfaces, where they provide 'depth and eye-catching effects', says Mactac.

The product comes in finishes such as flock, leather, brushed metal, and fine and coarse wood grain.

"Printers and installers looking to add a unique effect to high-end graphics now have a solution with our new Permacolor PermaFlex DecoLam overlaminate series," comments Mary Ann Kucera, marketing manager, Mactac Graphic Products.

"Consistent image quality and durability are easily achieved with this new laminate series specially designed for upscale applications. This premium laminate series is popular with our European customers and we are seeing excitement from our North American customers who have tried samples."

Permacolor PermaFlex DecoLam is available in thickness from 4 to 47mm, offers outdoor durability of up to five years, and comes with a permanent adhesive with an 85# White Clay Coated Kraft liner. When used with an application tape, it can also be used for cut vinyl applications.
