FESPA is urging the print industry to choose their favourites from more than 300 nominees for its inaugural Hall of Fame, which recognises print professionals demonstrating the highest levels of skill, service, sustainability ethos, innovation and contribution to the sector.
Online votes will be used to determine a shortlist of ten printing 'heroes' from each country, who will be featured in a 20m-long Hall of Fame gallery at February's FESPA Digital trade show in Barcelona.
FESPA Digital 2012 will include the first Hall of Fame
"The number and calibre of nominations in our first FESPA Hall of Fame is impressive, it will be a very difficult shortlisting process," comments Neil Felton, FESPA managing director. "Our aim is to celebrate people, not particular jobs or campaigns, printing companies, or new technological innovations.
"It's rare for the individual print professionals who drive this community to be recognised for their unique and personal contribution. The Hall of Fame will be a celebration of printers who their peers hold up as inspirational role models."
FESPA Digital takes place from February 21st to 24th.
