Sign Africa is a dedicated three day exhibition for the signage industry and is taking place from 22-24 August 2012, at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg. The show provides a gateway into Africa for the signage, display, wide format and digital graphics industries and Roland and Avery Graphics have once again confirmed their sponsorship of this international event.
Offering a unique opportunity for local and international visitors to investigate various available equipment, media and business opportunities it is the largest exhibition for the industry in Africa. Identifying this expo as a valuable platform Avery has been a sponsor since 2005 and Roland came on board in 2008 and has since been strongly associated with the expo.
“We are happy to have them on board as headline sponsors for this year’s event as the sponsorships have aided the expo to improve its offerings on a yearly basis,” says Charnia Yapp, Organiser of Sign Africa. “Last year we attracted over 6 300 visitors making it the best attended show to date, with this year promising to attract even more exhibitors and visitors.”
Following on the success of the 2011 expo Sign Africa will be going on a road show during 2012 over and above the annual International Expo. The following areas will be visited:
Nelspruit: 15 February 2012 at Emnotweni Casino
Durban: 14 & 15 March 2012 at ICC Durban
Bloemfontein: 30 May 2012 at Kiepersolrand
Cape Town: 20 & 21 June 2012 at CTICC
“Our Nelspruit road show is just around the corner and it will be the second time we visit the city with the expo. No entrance fee will be charged and to avoid queuing on the day pre-registration can take place on our website,” adds Yapp.
The website also offers information such as rates and a floor plan for parties interested in exhibiting at the show.
