The ValueJet 1626UH will launch in May

Mutoh will unveil three new models at at FESPA Digital in Munich, comprising of a compact 24" (0.6m) wide roll-to-roll printer and two UV-LED models, as it looks to add a new category of environmentally responsible machines for short-run printing to its portfolio.

The ValueJet 628 is the company's first roll-fed printer designed for commericial print, signage and print-and-cut applications. The ValueJet 1626UH is a 64" (1.65m) hybrid UV-LED printer which prints on rigid and flexible materials, including heat-sensitive substrates. The machine is primarily designed for the production of graphics intended for short viewing distances, such as trade show graphics, interior decoration and posters.

The third new addition is the ValueJet 426UF, a desk-top A3-sized flat-bed UV-LED printer made for direct printing onto solid materials up to 7cm thick. It is targeted at short-run personalisation of gifts, packaging, labels and signs.

"Our new ValueJet printer models will allow both existing Mutoh printer users – as well as specialty print providers – to explore new digital print capabilities to produce printed products with a high added value and to generate new revenue streams," says Arthur Vanhoutte, Mutoh Belgium’s managing director.
