The FESPA Gold Award for In-store Project of the Year 2014 has gone to British wide-format house PressOn for a luxury retail Christmas window and accompanying lift graphics.

Andy Wilson, joint managing director of PressOn, comments: "We are so thrilled to have won this award and for such a prestigious project. Recognition for our technical expertise at this level, from FESPA no less, is the highlight of the past 14 years of our desire to grow PressOn. All thanks go to our loyal and hard-working PressOn team."

Other winners on the night included Luxexcel in the functional print category and Horizon for its integrated print campaign. Eleni Bourazanis from the UK won the Young Star Award, which includes a six-month internship at Mimaki.

The awards were judged at the FESPA Global Summit in March 2014, and have since been online for the public to vote for their favourite in the People's Choice competition.

"By opening the FESPA Awards to all printers regardless of their membership of a FESPA association, we have given [printers] from across the world the opportunity to showcase what they can do," adds Duncan MacOwan, head of new media and events for FESPA.
