Durst has announced the appointment of Antonio Casta?o as its new managing director for its subsidiary Durst Image Technologie France. He takes the place of Luc Coruble, who is set to retire.

"We sincerely appreciate Luc Coruble's successful work over the years and wish him all the best for his retirement," says Christoph Gamper, chief executive of Durst Phototechnik. "At the same time, we would like to welcome Antonio Casta?o to Durst. We are very pleased to have found a reputable and experienced successor from the imaging industry for this very important market."

Antonio Casta?o has extensive experience in the print sector, having worked for Scitex,Indigo and EFI. He re-located to the the digital signage sector in 2001 to set up ILook, which sells digital display platforms. 

"I am thrilled to take on the responsibility for the region and to be able to represent Durst," he says. "We've demonstrated our innovative potential with new printer systems at the FESPA Digital and deliver proof that the technological development in our industry never stands still."
