PERFECT COLOURS TO SELL SURECOLOR SC-F SERIES OF TEXTILE PRINTERS IN EXPANDED EPSON PARTNERSHIP
Aug 14 2014 10:11:37 , 1460

Perfect Colours has extended its relationship with Epson by including the SureColor F series of textile printers, which it will supply to its UK customer base of wide-format professionals. The agreement, which acknowledges the south-east London reseller's support-led approach to market, is effective immediately.

With a foundation similar to the popular SureColor SC-S series for solvent-based production, the F series provides an accessible yet powerful entry point for those in the lucrative world of fabric decoration. Both established sign and display houses looking to expand their offering and new entrants with specific application ideas will benefit from a full introductory training course from Perfect Colours, helping them overcome the traditional textile learning curve.

"Our experience with Epson technologies, including the latest wave of PrecisionCore TFP print-head technology, and our support-led approach make this a natural extension for both Perfect Colours and our customers," explains Jon Telling, sales director. "It's also a consistent evolution in the relationship between Perfect Colours and Epson and recognises the active part we play in promoting key technologies to businesses in the trade."

Although dye-sublimation has made some inroads within the UK market over the last three years, Perfect Colours will use the appointment to grow its presence significantly with the Epson SureColor SC-F7100 and SC-F6000. British printers will benefit from in-depth training across the software, media and hardware necessary to produce short and medium run lengths of soft signage, promotional goods, sportswear apparel and object decoration. Furthermore, they will learn how the SureColor series ensures uptime while keeping running costs to a minimum.

"Education is paramount in converting the opportunities present with dye-sublimation into new revenue streams," Telling continues. "Whether they are looking to fashion completely new products or explore a new technique for existing markets, Perfect Colours is positioning itself to help graphics producers move in with precision and profitability."

The SureColor SC-F series, which is currently on tour with Perfect Colours in its country-wide road show, is available as an entry-level 44" (1.11m) high-speed version, the SC-F6000, or in a 64" (1.63m) model as the productivity-geared SC-F7100. Each features single-operator media loading and an ink refill system, which uses one-litre pouches for low maintenance and long print runs. The SC-F6000 is based on the popular Epson SureColor SC-T7000, while the SC-F7100 draws from the technological developments presented in the SureColor SC-S series.
