EEF seminar to address HR challenges


The manufacturer's organisation, the EEF, has announced that it will run a number of seminars in different locations around the UK. The sessions will tackle employee relations, with the aim of helping companies understand and manage the legal and socio-economic expectations of the industry.

Topshop, Twitter and Women's Aid top bill at Art of Outdoor awards


A collaborative campaign by Topshop and Twitter has seen the two companies scoop joint overall winners, along with charity Women's Aid, at this year's Art of Outdoor digital out-of-home competition, run by Ocean Outdoor.


Sizmek reworks senior-management team


Multi-screen advertising delivery company Sizmek has undergone a management overhaul. The announcement reveals the departure of former executive vice-president Andy Ellenthal, the appointment of Ken Saunders as its new chief financial officer while president and chief executive Neil Nguyen is set to direct its new sales structure.

The 3D Printer moves into schools down under


Australian 3D printer retailer 'The 3D Printer' has expressed plans to provide schools in the region with equipment. Following a crowd-funding campaign earlier this year, the company has implemented an education-based sales programme offering 3D printers on loan.

Epson and Yamamoto collaborate again for Hello Istanbul fashion show


Epson has once again partnered with Kansai Yamamoto to produce the Japanese designer's creations, celebrating '90 years of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Japan' at the Hello Istanbul fashion show, which takes place on October 11th 2014.


Delphax reports first elan sale

The industry has sprouted a literary-focused group in the form of the Association of Print Scholars (APS), in response to what it believes is gap in the sector for 'critical print discourse'. Membership is open for anyone with interest in the study of print.

Printmakers go social with 'Show me your print shop'


'Show me your print shop' is a new Facebook page created for printers to share and present their working space, as well as connect and bounce ideas off each other. The brainchild of Texan-based artist Lissette Chavez, the group currently has over 900 members.
