Scodix has announced the sale of its Scodix Ultra system to EarthColor at Graph Expo as the print house looks to offer customers an 'enhanced' end product. The delivery and installation of the engine scheduled for the end of October at the company's headquarters in New Jersey, USA.

Warren introduces Accurate Freeze boxboard


Warren has revealed the addition of several new products to its range, including a folding boxboard, Accurate Freeze, manufactured by Mayr-Melnhof Eerbeek in the Netherlands. It will also begin to stock the fully coated Cygnus (GC1) and Proxima Plus (GC2) folding boxboards as part of a new contract with APP.

Apple to blame for the decline of the Finnish paper industry, suggests prime minister


The Finnish prime minister has gone on record to suggest that Apple's rise has precipitated the decline in its largest industries, namely in paper production and mobile phones. The Finnish forest research association Metla has warned of a 'poor situation' for the country's paper industry and predicts a continued fall in production and exports over the coming year.

Youtube campaign in Tech City digital upgrade


JCDecaux's revamped Old Street roundabout has launched its first digital campaign, displaying a YouTube campaign that promotes most popular content on the video site. As well as the four digital screens at EC1, the promotion is set to feature at the media owner's Waterloo, Liverpool Street and Euston station sites.

Mike Baker is to step down as chief executive of the Outdoor Media Centre (OMC) next year as the trade body looks to reshape itself. The OMC has brought in Mark Craze, formerly chief executive of Havas Media Group UK, to conduct a wide strategic review of the trade association and its role.
