New Jersey-based flatbed cutter manufacturer Colex Finishing announces its move into a new 16,000-square-foot building that doubles its space to accommodate growth.
The company’s new home is in Elmwood Park, just seven miles from Paramus, New Jersey, where it had been for 42 years. Company president Werner Waden says the move will help meet the increasing demand for its own Colex Sharpcut Flatbed Cutters. The extra space allowed the purchase of more equipment to help it produce more of its wide-format flatbed cutters simultaneously.
The move also creates more warehouse space to store Italian-made Fotoba automatic cutters, for which Colex is the exclusive distributor for the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
The new facility features a demo/showroom where visitors can bring their jobs for cutting, trimming and routing on Colex and Fotoba equipment.
