Germany-based GMG, a developer and supplier of high-end color management software solutions, announces that it has chosen Ernest Green & Sons to distribute its products throughout Canada.

Ernest Green is one of the largest independent distributors of graphics arts products and services in that country. While it specializes in many areas of print and graphic arts, its focus for GMG products will be with flexography/packaging and commercial printing with a growing focus on large format, according to the company.

Large format is an area where GMG sees a great opportunity with its color management solutions, including the products GMG ColorProof, GMG FlexoProof, GMG OpenColor, and GMG ColorServer, among many others, the company says.

The companies say Ernest Green’s flexography/packaging and commercial print focus will tie in GMG’s color management prepress software with Ernest Green’s pressroom expertise.
