Today’s featured project comes to us from across the pond. Eager to show off more than mere merchandise at a (then-new) lingerie boutique on London’s tony Bond Street, Washington-based in-store entertainment providerPlayNetwork turned to Matrox Graphics in Quebec, Canada, to provide shoppers with a dazzling digital display. As a result, an eight-meter-high, 30-monitor video wall displaying digital content driven by Mura MPX Series video wall controller boards serves as a focal point of the store’s upscale décor, lending an aura of chic, inviting style.
The 30-monitor centerpiece displays everything from behind-the-scenes footage of commercials to live video feeds of the brand’s fashion shows, with regularly updated content. It also spans the height of a spiral staircase leading up the first few floors while a mirrored hallway reflects on-screen content throughout the store to reach most everyone inside.
PlayNetwork also designed and installed three other video walls, including a dramatic 4’ x 2’ display that adorns the store’s brassiere salon.
