Roland DG, a manufacturer of wide-format printers, cutters and engraving devices, announces that it has expanded its network of dealers by adding two UK-based companies to its network of distributors: R A Smart and i-Sub Ltd.
Both are already established suppliers of digital textile print systems. They will be adding the Roland DG Texart XT-640 dye-sublimation transfer machine to their collection of printers.
The Texart XT-640 is the newest addition to Roland DG’s dye-sub transfer range, providing a solution for textile businesses across a range of industries, according to the company.
In other Roland news, the company announces a UV ink webinar it is hosting on Thursday, June 30.
The webinar, geared toward Roland DGA end users, is called “How to Achieve Texture and Layering Effects Using UV Ink.” The free, half-hour session, hosting by application specialist Garrett Smawley, will focus on new specialty ink workflows to maximize creative opportunities and impress customers. The company says it is recommending the discussion for intermediate-level users, but anyone is welcome.
