Just three days after the promotion in VietAd 2016, DPES overseas promition team went to Malaysia to attend Print Technology 2016 which was held in Kuala Lumpurduring Aug. 4-7, 2016.

Print Technology is a bi-annual event organized by Kaizer Co and this year has been its 7th edition.  Since it was first held in 2004, Print Technology has established itself to become a premier trade exhibition in the Asian region.  A wide range of technologies, innovations and applications ranging from pre-press, digital imaging, printing equipment, converting, flexography, labeling, post-press equipment, printing materials and accessories up to the finishing section will be presented in Print Technology 2016.

Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC)

PWTC has is the largest exhibition center in Malaysia, which totals over 240,000 square metres of exhibition space and 17 meeting rooms suitable for different function.  PWTC is known for its high levels of personal service and a flexible approach to event management, making it popular with event organizers and meeting planners alike.

Since PWTC combines several buildings, the organizer placed eye-catching billboards at each entrance. 

Print Technology 2016 covered 15,000 sqm and 132 exhibitors from 9 countries attending the event.

The Opening Ceremony of Print Technology 2016 was held at 11:30 am on Aug. 4th.  Dato' Lee Chee Leong - Deputy Minister of Ministry of Finance Malaysia, representives from Ministry of Home Affair Malaysia, Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia, Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCeb), Ms. Belle Yam - Managing Director of Kaizer, etc. attended the ceremony.

Print Technology 2016 used Hall 1 & 2 of PWTC.  It combined printing technology and sign equipment together.  Sign equipment exhibitors were mainly in Hall 2, which covered 8,000 sqm.

At the entrance between Hall 1 and 2, there were the booths of DPI, HP, CANON, ANS, KONICA MINOLTA, MACSTREAM, AVS, ACE.

Compared with other overseas sign expo, there were not so many Chinese Brand in Print Technology 2016.  We could only see the machines of IEcho, Phaeton, Handtop, and New Century.

Malaysia ranks the first in DPES Southeast Asia visitor data list.  Every year, there are a large number of high-quality professional buyers coming to visit DPES Sign Expo.   procurement. Therefore, when DPES marketing specialist distributed show leaflet, most of the audience affectionately said they were familiar with  DPES Sign Expo China and it was their fixed annual itinerary.
