Melville, New York-based Canon Solutions America, a subsidiary that serves as the sales arm of Canon U.S.A., announces an expansion of its partnership with Elmwood Park, New Jersey-based Colex Industries, the U.S. manufacturer of the Colex Sharpcut finishing solution.

Under the newest agreement, Canon Solutions America will begin offering the Colex Sharpcut Digital Finishing Systems in addition to the previously announced Fotoba brand of large format XY cutters—a partnership announced in February. This new offering developed by Colex is poised to help automate print service providers' workflow while reducing costs associated with the finishing process of large format jobs.
