Chicago-based NEC Display Solutions of America, a provider of commercial LCD displays and monitors as well as digital and multimedia projectors, announces that its touch screen overlays, used for the company’s large-format displays, meet Trade Agreement Act (TAA) guidelines.

The TAA requires that U.S. government and affiliated entities with federal contracts to purchase end products, whether made or “substantially transformed” within the United States or other TAA-designated countries, that conform to its guidelines, which are designed to ensure that products used by the U.S. government support fair and open international trade.

The overlays are provided to NEC by Uniontown, Pennsylvania-based TSItouch, a veteran-owned small business.
